Get Questions? We’ve Got Answers
We know you have burning questions, especially about our affiliate links, so we spill all the beans here.
Don’t see what you’re looking for?
What does the “O3C Field-Tested” badge mean?
This means we tested the product in actual playing conditions. For example, we wore the pair of cricket shoes in a full T20 cricket match.
Does this mean the rest of the products aren’t tested?
Not at all. Some products might not fit true to size, or are clearly poor quality, and we want to return them. Since we can’t get them dirty, we examine and test to the best of our ability at home.
What does it mean that you have paid affiliate links?
This means that we get money from our affiliate partners (brands) if you click on one of the links and purchase the product – at no extra cost to you.
So who’s footing the bill in this affiliate marketing?
Brands want exposure for their products, so they’re willing to pay for it. It’s a form of advertising.
That sounds sketchy. Do you give better reviews to affiliate products?
Nope. If the product sucks, we’ll tell you it sucks, regardless if it’s an affiliate product. We keep it real and thoughtful. We also don’t only choose affiliate products to review. We choose health and wellness products we were already going to try in our daily lives.
What is the “We Try Before You Buy” Program?
The whole goal of Our Three cents is to inform our fellow consumers and help everyone get healthier. If you’re wondering whether a certain product is worth spending money on, you can request that we try it. We’ll invest the time and money, and give you a thoughtful review of the health, fitness, nutrition, or sports product.
