About Our Three Cents

We’re Beulah and Hannah – just two regular women. One day, we gazed around our living spaces, and realized that we both have a lot of stuff that’s supposed to make us healthier: dumbbells, vitamins, cardio machines – the list goes on. But did all of these health and fitness products actually improve our daily lives? We’re here to find out.

We decided to take a closer look at our wellness clutter. Many of the health and wellness products we review on Our Three Cents are things we already own. We’re “reviewing” each item in terms of both looking again, and also appraising it. Through this process, we learn if we should re-stock these wellness products, or if we should give them up. Then we can share our thoughts, to reduce waste overall.

We also review new products on Our Three Cents. However, we don’t have the budget to buy just to try, so the new items we test are things we actually need or want.

We have very different health habits and histories. This means that we don’t always agree on wellness. Instead, we discuss – and that discussion is the bedrock of our health product reviews.

While most of the health goods we review are geared toward all types of consumers, health is a very personal thing – the most personal thing.

For example, as women, we’re going to use more products specifically designed for women’s health and wellness.

Think of this review site as a community space. These reviews are conversations between us and with you.

We encourage everyone to speak up in the comments below each wellness, health, and fitness review. Do you hate the shoes that we loved? Tell us why!

Sharing our differences will enable us all to become better-informed consumers.
